elevators and lowerators from Barlow provide an efficient
and cost-effective solution for conveying products vertically
between different levels.
Units
are available in the elevator, lowerator and inverter configurations,
in mild or stainless steels. Features include positive lock neoprene
finger or bubble type grippers, variable transport speeds, elevations
to suit existing lines, time delay lubrication system and torque
limiter. This product can be supplied with a single or dual drive
arrangement with single inverter control.

The
Forehearth Colorant Stirring Mechanism is an economical and
versatile method of blending colour into molten glass between the
furnace and the forming machine. The blending of the color is readily
accomplished with the use of a Barlow 'Colorant Stirring Mechanism'
designed to suit the size of the forehearth. The mechanisms are
currently supplied with 1 to 6 banks (rows) of 3 to 5 stirrer heads.
They are built with ridged support frames, pullout heads for easier
maintenance, internal air cooled bearing housings with protective
heat shields, alloy steel shafts and 3 piece cast stainless steel
chucks precision machined to maintain concentricity of the ceramic
stirrers. The control panel, motors and inverters are sized to suit
the number of spindles.
